I have checked the number of muon ranged out in the IceCube detector. The condition of NDOM>=80 is applied.
Substantial number of muons die out in the detector. Many (low energy) muons range out for vertical muon bundles (~90%), while less muons range out inside the detector for inclinded muon bundles since low energy muons are already ranged out before reaching to the detector.

I have checked the total energy loss in the IceCube detector. The condition of NDOM>=80 is applied.
Quite high fraction of energy is lost inside the detector since muon bundles consists of many low enrgy muons.
The energy loss in the detector is larger for vertical muon bundles compared to inclinded ones since low energy muons are ranged out for inclind muon bundles.
